From September 8 to 10, the Yakutsk 4.0.0 START Forum was held in Yakutsk, which became a launch platform and an opportunity to bring together enterprising citizens, experts, business communities and city authorities to design a successful future city.
The head of the CENTER Lab analytical group, Maria Sedletskaya, took part in the discussion “Comfortable and sustainable urban environment – a decent life in the North”. She noted that Yakutsk, according to the conceived and ongoing projects, is moving at a faster pace and can largely set the trend in the Far East.
Maria also acted as a moderator of two sessions:
They made it possible to discuss the mechanisms laid down to achieve the mission of the city of Yakutsk as “the best city for human life in the world on permafrost”, as well as the features of the choice of priority sites for the KRT and the prospects for the development of programs for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing stock.
A resolution was prepared as a result of the Forum. It will become the basis for amending the Strategy for the socio-economic development of the Yakutsk city district for the period up to 2032.
