«Implementation of Projects for the Joint Development of Land Plots Provided under the Far Eastern Hectare Program» Strategic Session


On December 27, Maria Sedletskaya, head of the analytical group of the CENTER Lab International Urban Laboratory, participated in the «Implementation of Projects for the Joint Development of Land Plots Provided under the Far Eastern Hectare Program» strategic session.

The goal of the session was to find new approaches and develop mechanisms for the efficient interaction of interested parties in the implementation of the Far Eastern Hectare program.
The participants discussed urgent issues related to the development of lands under the Far Eastern Hectare program using the example of the Micropolis program, discussed the development and creation of new settlements on the Far Eastern Hectare, discussed the study and practical application of cluster development mechanisms for the balanced infrastructural development of territories, and shared their opinions on measures aimed at supporting residents.

Session goals

Search for new approaches and develop mechanisms for the efficient interaction of interested parties in the implementation of the Far Eastern Hectare program.

Discussion topics

  • Issues related to the collective development of land under the Far Eastern Hectare program using the example of the Micropolis program;
  • Development and creation of new settlements in the Far Eastern Hectare;
  • Study and practical application of cluster development mechanisms for the balanced infrastructural development of territories;
  • Measures aimed at supporting residents.

The search for effective projects which can integrated changes and the rapid development of the supporting infrastructure are opportunities for program development. The new supporting measures are in communication: implementation of a unified resource for stakeholders and the attraction of business start-up providers and compensation for the purchase of necessary equipment.

  • Sergei Mossoyonov, Director of the Department for the Implementation of the Far Eastern and Arctic Hectare Project, Far East and Arctic Development Corporation.
  • Ivan Stepanov, General Manager of the Micropolis — Territory of Future Program, Director of the Industry of the Future Autonomous Non-profit Organization.
